These are flooring surfaces boards RECLAIMED from Cargo storage containers and Freight Trailers and are about 20 years old. This timber is naturally affected from the frequent misuse they received during their lifespan. They are Oak and have a stunning grey patina which many favor to keep – furthermore, it can be wiped clean and lightly sanded to accept any stain coloration. These planks are also deep enough to plane 1/16 ” off for a more latest / clean look with a trace of wear.

Each plank is 12″ wide x 1 1/4 ” thick and vary in length from 8 ft – 12 ft. The panels are butcher block quality and the sides are ship lap. This material weighs approx 4 ½ lbs per sq ft and is excessively pain-free to work with.

The design methods are infinite for Interior / Exterior, home and Commercial use. Some of the most widely used concepts are sliding Barn Doors, Indoor or external Accent Walls, floor covering, uncovered Vaulted Ceilings, Cabinets, Shelving, indoor or outdoor Bar Tops, counter tops, Center Island tops, and floor coverings. This wood is also great for endless home furniture Designs such as dinner Tables, Coffee Tables, Console Tables, and Bookcases.

These are flooring planks REPURPOSED from decommissioned railcars from the 1920’s – 1940’s. This EXCELLENT RECYCLED material has toured the rails of The country for decades and dons the history of its life on its finish. They have a deep color and pretty charm as well as all-natural distressing that many try to replicate. These wood panels are built in butcher block style that makes the material really stable and helps prevent bowing and cupping.

Each plank is 12″ wide x 2 1/4″ thick and more or less 8 feet long – the whole span of the board is tongue on one side and grooved on the other side and weighs about nearly 9 lbs per Sq ft. The boards are all real wood and are primarily Oak or Maple but we also receive some Hickory and Mahogany periodically.

This lumber is incredibly convenient to work with and IS used for a lot of Interior Design applications such as Kitchen Countertops, Kitchen Center Islands, Indoor and exterior Bar tops, Fireplace Mantels, and stairway Treads. There are also a variety of furnishing solutions including Dining Tables, Dining Table Benches, Coffee Tables, End Tables, and Console Tables.

The cost for these planks is $275 – $325 per 8′ plank.
